Morning everyone, we are closed today because of snow (30/11/10) enjoy your day at home and keep safe! It would be good if some of you looked on here! If you do can you write your answer to the question, what advice would you give Paul when he is being bullied by Nick & Mo (chapter 6) You can listen to the beginning of the chapter again by listening to http://www.mousecircus.com/ and hear Neil Gaiman reading and even play some of the word games on there.

Well done to Rebecca for being the first to post a comment at 7.23am! Commendation for you. Mrs H
PS If you go on to 'Around the World' page there is a map with some red dots that show where our visitors are from, can you name any of the places? If you read the comments section below you will see there is a message from Mr Webb in New Zealand - their weather is very different to ours!!

Hi 7R !!! Finally I Got A Lye In !!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway I Think that he should tell the head teacher and just dont let them take his money
Wow! Amazing that you have Winter at the moment, here in New Zealand on the other side of the world we're just starting out Summer, and even in Winter here it doesn't snow so we never get 'snow days' will have to tell the students, they will be disappointed!
ReplyDeleteMr Webb and Room 8, Melville Intermediate, Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.
Thank you Mr Webb, it is still snowing here and very cold!!!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you can continue to learn when you are snowed in. I am in Victoria Australia and it is Summer but we are having the
most rain we have had for 35 years. It has been good because we have had a drought for 15 years. Last year our main water supply Lake Eppalock was down to 6% now it is full and flowing over.
We have been very close to staying home due to bush fires think I'd rather be snowed in. Bye from Mrs A
Thank you Mrs A, it's really interesting to hear about other school so far away!
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs Hewit. Its Kate. For homework I think Bod should not go to real school, because hes not used to it, he will have trouble fitting in because hes different and Mr and Mrs Owens couldnt do what real parents could do.

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs H. Instead of telling you about the snow i've wrote a poem:
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas countdown starts,
You buy presents that come from your Heart.
Next comes the big big tree,
With all the sparkling lights to see.
People rushing here and there,
Busy and exited is what Christmas bears.
Carol singers at your door,
Services in church are when you hear more.
By now the cards have all been wrote
The parties have started with all the good jokes.
St Nicolas loves to eat mince pies,
He is preparing the presents to be on time.
People gather for Christmas dinner,
With the Christmas cracker there’s only one winner
But have we forgotten what Christmas is about,
Born in a manger there should be no doubt.

ReplyDeleteWow..! In Sioux Rapids Iowa we haven't been getting much snow. It looks like you guys have a ton of snow. We have had maybe three snow days, because of the ice not the snow. In Sioux Rapids Iowa we have like a spring with snow, because each day the highest temp. is 50 and lowest is maybe -7. I hope you guys don't get another day like that unless you guys like the snow? #H1
