Design Concepts - Look at Eyam Museum on PhotoPeach
Today we began working as a company to look at the Museum in Eyam, we are called Design Concepts and will share some of our work with you here.
this is Essa. First of all we had a board meeting and Mrs Hewitt said that a museum in Eyam wanted a tender to remodel it. We all ended up with different jobs; some people researched more about the museum, some worked out arrangments for the cafe and others (me and my friends) worked out a plan for the building.
I filmed an advert for the museum and when the Eyam museum manager came in to look at our tender he was very impressed with it. Also Mrs Hewitt said that there was a volunteer, who was in her 80s, and she came too because she was worried about all the new tech we were proposing to put in. He left us in doubt, but then she disagreed with him and tried to defend us as much as she could now we are working even more to make our tender more to his liking.
There is a museum in Eyam because when there was the plauge a tailor bought a carpet from london and it had fleas. to stop the plauge spreading to another village they got the supplies of food dropped down a well and then they would go and pick it up. However most of the people in that village got the plague.

BP Oil Spill
Our first few lessons were spent in role as either BP Executives, local fishermen, reporters...looking at the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico
We did a press conference in role and then wrote our own press releases.
We gave our feedback on linoit to say what we thought.
We did the oil spill at beginning of year.
i did enjoy it because i like to argue and the press relese was a great time for me to do it because i didnt get told off for it because it was my job. Also because i like to know whats going on in the world and that wasa big insidence that went off and i think it still going on. Emily
