Hello its Rebecca here i thought Charlotte really deserved to be pupil of the week because she did a lot of work for our museum tomorrow.
She has made posters and signs for the museum and worked hard on them and they look brilliant!  I thought Charlotte has used 2 of the pelts this week the first was team worker because she did the posters with Courtney. the other one is independent enquirer she copied things onto the computer and finished her box. well done Charlotte good luck everyone else for next week.

Hello it's Nathan here I wanted to say that  I  can'nt wait for tommorow because we are doing a museum in cultural studies and parents will be able to come and we'll be having cakes and drinks we will also be showing things that we've brought in from home.

Its georgia fenton here as you know from the is she a witch page we have been reading the Graveyard book heres the letter i sent mr Gaiman!!!

Dear, Mr Gaiman,
At kingstone school we have been reading your Graveyard book and have taken a great interest. We were wondering if you would mind answering some of our questions?
Where did you get your inspiration from to think of a such beautiful, detailed story? Some of us would definately struggle. Where did you get your ideas from? We've noticed on your book you won a newbery medal, how did you feel when you won it?
If you could please look at our blog www.7rcs.blogspot.com you will see what we have been doing about your book! We would love it if you could leave us a message! Thanks G.Fenton 7R!!!!

Hi this is Georgia Fenton i would just like to reply to Mr Robson
I know you were asking over a d.t blog well just like 7R's blog it's a place for home and school to interact these are just a couple of things that might be useful:  Try and get the kids to comment on the blog, set your homework tasks on here just like ours ( our penguin tin )  you could set little things like the first one to find the homework on the page gets a prize! You could even make a page like our pupil of the week page for homework, try to include lots of interesting photos to make it a little better! just like I said we want parents to be involved aswell so you could set up a parents page for any concerns they may have! thanks if you want anymore advice then i would be delighted to help you!!!

hi its kane over the past week it has been very fun .in culral studies we have been doing 3 chair improvisation's  and  also  we have been doing some freeze fdrames about bod being told off from the police.

Get a Voki now!

Hi its Kate, this morning we have split up into two groups for a name for our new school.Olivia A's group and Kane Y's group. They are both completley different names but both great in there own way! The name that our form chooses will go to the goveners and they will make the final decision based on our reasons.

This is your first 'Hunt the Heart' extra homework - can you find the word for 'Heart' in 5 different languages?

Hi, Elissa here I am writing to tell you about the Barnsley Acoustic Roots Festival that will be held at Kingstone as 7O, 7R, 7L and 7N have been working together to create a reenactment of the huskar disaster which happend on the 4th of july 1838 in Silkstone.26 children died 14 survived! This is one of our songs that 4 of the girls created:
1st verse:
     26 children drowned
    As parents started to scream
But nobody wants to go back
    To that horrible scene.

     2nd verse:
     The rain started to fall
There was a great big storm
      The tunnels started to fill
      While everybody said their will

    CHORUS

     26 children died
      14 survived
As the lake on top of the ground
      Started to dive
                                                                          X2

        3rd verse
        26 children drowned
        Some just over se…ven
        Their lives taken
And now they are in heaven

          4th verse
          Can you believe?
          How tragic this was
          So many dead
          You need to understand because….

        CHORUS X2

  2. Hi 7R I am really impressed with your CS Blog. I think the work you are doing is fantastic and I know Mrs Hewitt is really proud of the work you have been doing. I would really love to have a similar blog for DT. What are your thoughts? Could you help me and give me some advice?
    Keep up the good work.
    Thanks
    Mr Robson DT/PE/GDB :-)
